FOSTER’S is committed to providing you with the necessary information to allow you to enjoy our great beers. Below you will find all of the nutritional information for FOSTER’S LAGER & FOSTER'S SHANDY. 

We use only the finest ingredients for the brewing of FOSTER’S. Barley is one of the cereals that contains gluten, which means that FOSTER’S is not gluten free.

FOSTER’S LAGER has an alcohol content (ABV) of 3.4% (from February 2026), although 3.7% FOSTER'S may still be sold after this date.

A 3.4% pint of FOSTER'S (Since February 2026) contains 1.9 UK alcohol units and 170 calories, which is equivalent to 30 calories per 100ml (shown below as 30 kcal)

A 3.7% pint of FOSTER'S (Prior to February 2026) contained 2.1 UK alcohol units and 187 calories, which is equivalent to 33 calories per 100ml (shown below as 33 kcal)

FOSTER’S SHANDY has an alcohol content (ABV) of 3.0%. A can (440ml) contains 1.3 UK alcohol units, which is equivalent to 39 calories per 100ml (shown below as 39 kcal)
